ROSS MYERS - 1927 FORD ROADSTER

Ross has a love for hot rods with history. A byproduct of this love is the preservation of these cars for years to come. The 27 T Roadster, originally built and owned by Dick Williams of Berkeley CA, was the top winner of the fourth annual Oakland Roadster Show. The Brizio crew, headed by Jack Stratton, have taken on the task of restoring the 27 to the way it was when it won America's Most Beautiful Roadster award. The body will be mounted to a tubular frame. A Halibrand quick change with a re-arched Model A spring is what's out back. A suicide front end sits in front of the radiator and grill shell. Kinmont disc type brakes supply the stopping power. The T is propelled by a Merc flathead and a 39 Ford trans. A huge thank you goes out to Ross for preserving another bit of hot rod history.
